Construction Documents Done!
Well, after a long wait (more than 4 months!), our construction documents are done. Next step is to submit for permit and to get contractor quotes. Then, finally, we can get rid of the Jack and Jill shower! And the small bathrooms. And the ridiculous closet.

Tub in the master bathroom?
So my Mom and I were discussing whether or not a tub is required in the master bathroom.
Eric and I went back and forth on the issue forever. Interestingly, both of us hate tubs and their dust, but I was worried about resale. That is hilarious because I want to be carried out of the this house feet first so really this is not an issue. In the end, we have a huge shower (!) and the washer and dryer in the bathroom. If someone wanted to put a tub in the master, it would be easy to change that later with virtually no plumbing changes.
I did do some internet browsing today on the subject, and boy is it heated. But the overall consensus is that if you have a tub in another bathroom it is fine to do what you want (either way) in the master.
So skip that tub Dad!

Living Room towards the fireplace
View of the back of the house in the back yard. This is not too bad actually.
