This is the layout for the second bathroom downstairs. Really we have found that every room needs a name and we have struggled with what this one should be. My favorite though is the man bathroom (because it is off the family room/shop in the very man cave area!).

Camper time!!
We picked up the camper today. This weekend will be our first practice trip (that is, we go someplace close by in case anything bad happens!).

No topic is too trivial for this blog...
Or the day I wrote about toilet paper holders...
We ordered all of our bathroom hardware (towel bars, faucets etc) because the lack of a toilet paper holder was annoying. Since all that hardware is here now, Eric installed it. We are living in a very fancy life now.

Happy Implant Anniversary!
Happy 3 years! The traditional wedding anniversary gift for three years is leather - I am not sure how to translate that into an implant gift!
Eric's implants were turned on for the first time three years ago today. That day ranks as one of the best ever (after getting married!). Implants changed our lives completely.
Last week, we met someone who just qualified for implants in one ear. His story is virtually identical to Eric's from gradual hearing loss in adulthood to the inability to work and function in life. It is so easy to forget how hard life was then now, and it was nice to be reminded of it.

Medicine cabinets
We had a very pleasant surprise yesterday when we went to pick up our master bath hardware - the medicine cabinets were also in. Naturally Eric has installed them already. This means we can move into the master bath to get ready in the morning (less shower!). That will be a big improvement.
The mirrors on the cabinets are beautiful, but it is hard to tell even in the professional catalog shot (Last one). Sorry about that.
